Theresa's First Blog...

My first blog post! I can't quite believe I am doing this but I feel it's the right time. The little angel that is my ticking time bomb of a son is asleep so I will make this quick! 

I am a secondary school teacher teaching drama. (I know I must be mad!) I say teaching... most of my students spend 90% of my lessons running around creating art in what I would describe as organised chaos. I could write a blog on my job but will try and stay on topic which is difficult for me as you will soon realise... my son!

I have been married to Tom for two years and our son came crashing into our world on the 8th of May 2019. The crashing is literal but more about that another day!

If I had to describe myself in three words they would be loud, passionate and loyal.

Pre-birth I enjoyed going to restaurants, drinking in nice bars with friends, going on holiday and spending time with family. I still enjoy these things... I just have to work out how to include a 3 month old!

"Why a blog?" I here you cry with despair that you are going to have to put up with my ramblings every so often for the foreseeable.

I have too much time on my hands while on mat leave and I am sick of watching "Say Yes to the Dress" on repeat.

Joking aside, I feel that this is an opportunity to get all of my thoughts out of my head and onto this space. I want to share my highs and lows with you all and the joys and challenges that come with being a parent. I know there are hundreds of these out there but if I make someone smile, laugh, think or help someone out I will be rather pleased with myself.

I won't be the only one sharing our adventures...
